don't wanna go back to school....sigh...

Old? I think not.

As much as i dislike cliche, i have to agree with a certain one that says ''you are as old as you feel''. I am not one for observing people but being stuck at a dinner party with old people yelling their heads off under the guise of singing does strange things to you...
We have on one hand a 70 year old lady who does the cha-cha on a daily basis, jogs religiously and in essence feels like she's 30. She may not actually look 30 ( thank god say all the plastic surgeons around the world) but her healthy outlook on life does take off a good 20 years. On the other hand we have a woman of sorts who dresses in what is deemed the latest fashion...in Taiwan perhaps...topped Capitally, pun intended, with a bouffant hairdo circa 1920 and finishes the look with a huge grin plastered on that screams either Botox or botched up anaesthesia......incidentally,she is about as old as Malaysia...if not older...a lot older...
My point is, as much as we would like to blur the line there is a difference between feeling 30 and feeling like i can pull the wool over everybody's eyes and make them think I'm 30....
Easier said than done I suppose.....after all, it does take a huge amount of discipline to stick to a strict exercise regime...but then if you have a winsome character...a bit of ''cuddibility" couldn't hurt...
It all boils down to this.....smile and the world smiles with you. There really is no point in sitting around wasting one's life away when what you could do is smile from the heart...you live longer and even if you don't, people would wish you had........
Lol...i'll probably hate myself when i read this 50 years from now..c'est la vie....
